Interior Design

How We Do It

The first step is to meet with you to understand your needs and objectives.

We will discuss the details of the space and the requirements to be met.

We create a conceptual design that includes the layout of the space, the selection of materials, colours, and textures, and a furniture plan, if necessary. All of this is done in accordance with DS Smith’s guidelines.

We prepare the budget which includes costs for materials, labour, transportation, and other project-related expenses.

Once the conceptual design and budget are approved, we begin project planning and coordination. This involves creating a work schedule and coordinating deliveries.

With the planning and coordination underway, we proceed to implement the project, always under the supervision of a project manager from Mad Dog Studio.

We conduct a final review alongside the designated representative from DS Smith.

Branding, Signage, and Communication

How we do it

We create a proposal incorporating both rational elements (signage and branding) and emotional elements (communication). This is documented in a Sing Book with measurements, materials, and photographic mock-ups illustrating how each element will appear once installed.

After the proposal is approved, we prepare the budget which includes costs for materials, labour, transportation, and other expenses related to the project.

Once the design and budget are approved, we begin project planning and coordination. This involves creating a work schedule and coordinating deliveries.

We implement the project, always under the supervision of a Mad Dog project manager, and we review the entire installation together with the client.

Health & Safety

How we do it

Methodology:

The H&S team at the plant presents their needs and initial designs. Mad Dog designers format these initial designs to align with DS Smith’s graphics. We also propose space layouts and recommend the best materials for each case.

The budget will include Final Artwork, Material Costs, Labour Costs, Transportation, and Other expenses related to the project.

We create a schedule for work and task coordination.

With this exclusive DS Smith character, we can explain certain safety rules and actions in the plants in a simple and effective manner. It’s highly versatile, and we’ve adapted it for numerous messages and media formats.

Additionally, we produce animations for information screens within the plant.

We create, produce, and install hundreds of safety panels, signs, and brochures for the H&S teams in various countries.
